On April 16th, 2016 I was fortunate to be given the opportunity to tell my story in a TEDx talk. My topic is about how prevalent sexual abuse is in our society and I talk about my challenges with healing from my own abuse. It was a very difficult experience standing on stage sharing my deepest secrets but I hope that by sharing my story, I can remind other victims or survivors that they are not alone.
