It’s About Time!

“Time = Life, Therefore, waste your time and you waste of your life, or master your time and master your life.” – Alan Lakein

Do you have time? If so…Who gave it to you? Where did you get it? When did you get it? Why did you have it? What is time?

Time as a whole never ends, yet it ends for each of us. It never slows down for us nor does it hurry up for us. Time is always on your side until you press it, then it turns it’s back on you. Time is your best friend and your greatest enemy. People wish for more time yet often they wish more time would pass by. Time is the base of your greatest fears but is also the base for your best of joys. To the optimist, there is never enough time. To the pessimist, there is too much time. Do you have enough time?

When time is measured, time is saved… is it really saved? When time is not measured, time is wasted…. is it really wasted? When you lose time, you can never find it again. When you do find the time, you never seem to lose those precious minutes. Who is keeping time? Are you? Am I? Do we even want more time?

When a deadline is made, time is understood, yet is totally misunderstood when the deadline is here. When time passes fast you wish it would go slow, yet when it goes really slow, you wish it would go faster. Confusingly, time is never fast or slow, it is consistent. It takes its own time. Time is selfish. Are you selfish with your time?

Time can be a prison, time can set you free. When you are young, time seemingly never ends. When you are old-time seemingly never began. We love time, we hate time. We are envious of other people’s time. We can’t get enough time. We are a time-aholics, yet we are chronophobes. We sell our time, yet we can never buy it, we can’t even return the time we have, even if it is bad. What kind of store is this?

We’re here for a good time, not a long time. So have a good time, I hope you have the time of your life!

Thank you for your time!
