The Power of One Second

If you were give one second to change the course of your life; what would you do with it?

What would you do if you could relive one second of your life again?

One tiny second is all you would need to change the course of your life forever, that’s it, that’s all. In a second you can decide to do this over that, and that moment will change everything that follows like a trail of dominoes.

Imagine if you could take that second to turn left instead of right to avoid that car accident.

Imagine if you could take that second to choose that other job instead of this one.

Imagine if you could take that second to stop yourself from proposing to the spouse that you are now separating from.

Imagine if you could take that second to treat that homeless person better.

Imagine if you could take that second to make that trip instead of passing on it.

Imagine if you could take that second to stop yourself from eating that last bite that caused your arteries to clog.

Imagine if you could take that second to throw out that last ounce of alcohol that pushed you over the edge to do something foolish.

Imagine if you could take that second to stop a loved one from crossing the street before they were run over by a drunk driver.

Imagine if you could take that second to keep walking away from the car lot before spending way too much on that expensive car you are now stuck with.

Imagine if you could take that second to say I love you to that stranger before they went home to commit suicide.

Imagine if you could take that second to stop.

STOP IT NOW!!

You will never that that second back. You can only live the second you have right now. And the next second? It is not guaranteed you will ever see it.

One second.

It’s all you have.

What are you doing with yours right now?
